Austin Dove is a trial attorney with a diverse range of clients, from corporate executives to homeless veterans. He has first-chaired scores of state and federal jury trials from voir dire to verdict. Austin has expertise in white-collar, tax fraud, corruption, racketeering, healthcare fraud, and federal labor violations.

Biography

Austin has won dozens of full acquittals on behalf of his clients. In T. Scott v. City, Austin won a hard-fought $7.6 million settlement on the eve of jury selection was to begin, was the highest on record against a California municipality for premises liability. Austin has lectured on law and public policy at UCLA. He has developed curriculum for and taught MCLE courses to hundreds of lawyers and legal professionals. He was first named a Super Lawyer in 2004 and has earned the distinction several times.

Austin frequently appears on ABC, CNN, BBC, KTLA, and Fox News. He serves on the board of directors of the Criminal court’s Bar Association. He also serves on the board of directors for the Westside Regional Center, which brings resources to the largest developmentally disabled community in the country. He has completed nine triathlons. Austin received his Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law, where he was a member of the school’s Law Review. He is a Board Certified Specialist in Criminal Law.
